Cutting and cutting paper is an ancient art. Folk art that draws its motifs from cultural life and tradition.
Paper cutouts were used for various purposes and had a great wealth of folk signs and motifs.
The art of cutouts originated in the Far East and from there it spread to the whole world. It is widespread and rooted in the Jewish world during the exile.
Today, there remain a small number of artists whose craft is paper cutouts.
I see the inheritance of art to the public as a mission.
There is a meditative, calming and beneficial language in this work.
There is a secret and a revelation in it, there is and there is not.
As in life, there is what we choose to take out and what we choose to keep.
