The path of the tracker

Stocking Wolf, an elderly Apache Indian tracker, was asked to pass on the Indian heritage of survival in the wild that he had acquired over many years, to two seven-year-old American boys. One of them was Tom Brown. During his apprenticeship, which lasted for many years, Tom learned to read and decipher animal and human tracks on the Burien, to listen to the spirits of the earth as the Indians did, and to survive alone in the forests in harmony with nature. The book describes the true story of Tom Brown, the process of his apprenticeship, during which he went through countless hair-raising adventures, and the beginning of his work as a tracker during which he saved dozens of people who were lost in the woods.

Tom Brown became a tracker with unique skills, and founded a large and important school for survival skills in the wild in New Jersey. This is the first book by Tom Brown, who has since written many more books, some of which were bestsellers in the United States, including The Way of the Tracker.
