Peter Wallben, born in 1964, has been drawn to nature since childhood and has devoted his entire life to trees. He studied forestry and worked for about 20 years in the German National Forestry Service. Wallben today manages a forest with an environmentally friendly approach in the Eifel Mountains in western Germany, and works to restore the primary forest.
