Noa Lara Meir's debut book began to be written with Ima's death from a serious illness, over the course of several years. It ranges between songs that embody the shock, the initial grief and the paralyzing loneliness, through the songs of the everyday and life, those that have no choice but to continue to exist; Loves that almost were, hopeless moments, the excitement of a new relationship, and the moments when she too falls into the threats of routine.
Her poetry bravely and clearly observes chaos, emptiness and grief, and manages to collect and create from this place direct and clear poetry that tells a story that can literally be imagined before our eyes.
