The ancient story of the man who was reincarnated in all the animals, is presented in this book wrapped in rich content about the Inuit people, from whose culture he came. It is an accordion book, which you can flip through like a regular book, but also spread it out to see the whole story and witness all the changes in its shape as one illustration. Oren Shavit's illustrations breathe life into the plot, the animals and the landscapes, and also shed light on the culture and the unique artistic style developed by the Inuit people in Northern Canada. On the back of the accordion you will find information about the Inuit people, and a board game that simulates the wandering circle of the Netzlik tribe, where the story is told. The game illustrates the way of life lived by the members of this wonderful culture. The story of the man who reincarnated in all the animals is told orally among different Inuit tribes, and has many versions. We chose this version because it is suitable as it is for everyone (from age 4). What does the book include? As mentioned, this is an accordion book (look at the pictures), the accordion has two sides. The story - the entire story is printed on one side of the accordion. You can flip through it like a regular book and you can spread it out and the illustrations together form one long picture. Side two: Board game: The wandering circle of the Hantzlik people - a fun board game through which you get to know more about the Inuit people and their traditional way of life as hunter-gatherers. The game is based on the nomadic circle that the members of the Netzlik tribe held. In addition to the board game, on this side of the accordion you will also find information about the Inuit people, an illustrated glossary with explanations of terms that appear in the story, and details about the narrator, a member of the Netzlik tribe named Kakortingnek who told this version to the Danish researcher Knud Rasmussen in 1923. And in addition - toys For self-assembly, since the whole story can be unfolded and seen as one long illustration, we thought it would be fun to play it as well. That's why three postcards are attached to each book from which you can make self-assembled toys such as a polar bear, dog sled, igloo, kayak and characters that can also be used as players on the board game. 0.260 kg 22.4 × 14.5 × 1.2 cm
