Dorodango workshop - making a ball of mud that is shaped by hand into a perfect ball and then goes through drying and polishing to a shine. Dorodango is a traditional Japanese children's game that has been rediscovered as a peaceful, meditative pastime for people of all ages.
It is a simple and immersive art of working with hands with earth from nature, which promotes flow and peace.
Each Dorodango is a record of place, time and technique. Even the one whose face bears scars or cracks tells a fascinating story. He is beautiful in his own way. Pure Wabi Sabi, which means "finding beauty in imperfect things".

In the workshop we will experience the process of making the Dorodango ball under the guidance of designer and artist Einat Telam (New York, Tel Aviv, Lefkada). Einat is an interior designer and sets and scenery builder in the film and television industry and after years of sculpting in wood and stone clay she focuses on connecting to the earth in different parts of the world.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday 11/27/24 at 15:00. The length of the workshop is about two and a half hours, suitable for everyone from the age of 10. Light refreshments will be served, there is a protected area nearby.
